One way we fulfill our commitment to the betterment of our community and its citizens is through our continued support of local projects — especially those projects which help to improve the lives of our children.

Rick Mason
Retired Education Leader

Rick was born and raised in Lake Mills. He graduated from Lake Mills High School. He received his Bachelor’s Degree and Master’s Degree from UW-Whitewater. He furthered his education by earning a PhD degree in Educational Administration from UW-Madison.
​
Rick has been a classroom teacher, reading specialist, Principal for 30 years and a Tenured Associate Professor of Educational Leadership at UW-Whitewater, where he coordinated the Educational Leadership Co-op Program between UW-Whitewater and UW-Madison.
​
Rick and his wife, Mary-Lynne, live in Lake Mills in the very house Rick grew up in.

Pam Streich

Pam grew up in rural Lake Mills and graduated from LMHS. She attended UW Madison on a Joe Davies full Scholarship and her father believed she needed to thank the Jefferson County area by working and contributing to the local community for this generous opportunity. After receiving her Masters in Speech Pathology, she worked in the Watertown Unified School District for 15 years.
Wanting her youngest son to experience the exceptional education she had received, she and her husband Terry moved to Lake Mills in 2002. Pam served as the Director of Special Education, Summer School Director, Associate Elementary Principal, and High School Principal before retiring as District Administrator in 2020.

Pam and Terry enjoy frequent travel including Mission trips, volunteering whenever and wherever needed, following granddaughters' sports, and spending time with family and friends on Rock Lake.

Pam Lazaris

Pam moved to Lake Mills in June 1998. She is a consulting administrator for family business, Sproutamo Corporation, distributor of the Easy-Sprout™ sprouter worldwide. Pam also is a planning consultant via Pyramid Lake Services LLC. Before moving to Lake Mills, Pam was Community Development Director of the City of Waseca, Minnesota and held various planning jobs before then.
Pam earned a Master of Business Administration, University of St. Thomas, St. Paul; Master of Urban & Regional Planning, University of Wisconsin-Madison; and Bachelor of Fine Arts, University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. Pam grew up in Dixon, Illinois and graduated from Dixon High School.
Pam and her husband, Gene Monson, live in the City of Lake Mills. She and Gene have two adult children; Gene has three adult children. Together they have seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Wayne Magnussen

Wayne grew up on the family dairy farm north of Lake Mills. He went to a one room eight grade neighborhood school. He graduated from Lake Mills High School and went on the attend UW-Platteville.
​
He worked on the family farm for a while and then went to work for a local feed, grain and farm supply company. Eventually, he became the owner and operator for the business, Lake Mills Feed and Grain.
​
Wayne and his wife Sharon live in Lake Mills. The have two children, Miranda and Eric.

Jay has served on the board since 2009 as a voting and non-voting board member. Most recently he served as LMACF President 2023-2024. As of January 1, 2025, he returned to a non-voting board member position.

​Jay is the Correspondent Lending Director & General Counsel at Bank of Lake Mills. Jay also serves on the Board of Directors for the Bank. Prior to joining Bank of Lake Mills, Jay was a partner in the law firm of Neuberger, Griggs, Sweet & Smith, LLP in Lake Mills. Jay was with the firm from 2007-2018. His practice with the firm focused on Estate Planning, Probate and Trust Administration, Elder Law, Business and Real Estate.
​
Jay grew up New Glarus, Wisconsin. He achieved his Bachelor of Science Degree at the University of Wisconsin – La Crosse, with majors in Political Science and German Studies and a minor in History. Jay then attended Marquette University Law School where he received his Juris Doctorate Degree in 2007.
​
Jay and his wife, Jessica, have 3 daughters, Adeline, Lucy and Hazel. They reside in the Town of Lake Mills. Jay spends most of his free time coaching and watching his daughters participate in various sports.

Rick Wollin
Retired Owner/CEO of Fiberdome Inc.

Rick was born and raised in Lake Mills and graduated from Lake Mills High School. He went onto college and received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering from UW-Madison. Rick’s first professional position was to engineer, design and sell hydraulic systems for large OEMs to the likes of John Deere, Clark Equipment, Caterpillar, Samsung and Grove. Rick then moved back to Lake Mills to work with the family business of which is father started, Fiberdome Inc. Rick in time took the reins as President and CEO, and eventually owner. Fiberdome Inc. is a manufacturer of fiberglass composite products, where Rick grew the firm from 25 employees to at one point over 300. Rick “retired” from Fiberdome Inc. after selling the business in 2021 and is currently a consultant.
Rick and his wife Tina live in Lake Mills with their two dogs and have three children. Richard II (25) owner/operator of SimpliSoda, LLC in Lake Mills, Anthony (24) business manager of large retail store, and Ava (22) will be graduating from UW Madison specializing in genetics. Rick enjoys the outdoors in every aspect (hunting, fishing, biking/hiking/skiing etc..) and is a golf and travel enthusiast!​

Jim Colegrove
Retired Engineer for Trek Bicycle
LMACF Board Director

Jim grew up in the northern suburbs of Chicago. Graduated from New Trier HS and then the University of Utah. The family moved to Lake Mills in 1990 when Jim took an engineering job with Trek Bicycles. He retired from Trek after 31 years.
​
Jim joined the Lake Mills EMS (LMEMS) in 2010 as a driver and first responder and in 2016 he became a licensed EMT. He was elected to the LMEMS Board as Vice President and served in that position until they closed operations in 2023. Thereafter, he was instrumental in getting the LMEMS board to donate to the Lake Mills Area Community Foundation helping to create the LMEMS Scholarship to encourage careers in emergency medicine. Additionally, LMEMS provided funds designated for emergency services and the library.
​
He was elected to the board of Wisconsin Emergency Medical Services Association (WEMSA) Foundation in 2023 and was instrumental in directing the LMEMS board to donate funds to WEMSA Foundation creating the LMEMS Legacy Scholarship to help the shortage crisis.
​
Jim is a retired manufacturing engineer, having worked at Trek bicycles for 31 years. His background was in process development for advanced composite structures, specializing in Treks high end carbon fiber bicycles. While at Trek he became involved with the Midwest Athletes against Childhood Cancer Fund (MACC Fund). He also played an integral part of the yearly Trek 100 charity ride.
​
Jim has been involved with the Boy Scouts since 1991 including: Den Leader, Cub Scout Pack Master, Scout Master, Merit Badge Counselor, and Explorer Post Leader to support the teaching of fundamental life skills that are not typically taught in school.
​
Jim lives in the Town of Lake Mills with his wife Jennifer. They have 2 grown boys, Chris and Eric. He enjoys sailing and skiing in both summer and winter and bicycling almost year round.

Aaron Genthe

Aaron moved to Lake Mills in 1999, as an opportunity arose to take over management of the local Edward Jones Investments Office. Aaron is a fully licensed Series 7 Financial Advisor and is celebrating his 21st year serving his clients in the Lake Mills area. In 2006, he accepted his company’s offer to become a Limited Partner with Edward Jones, thus becoming a partial owner in the firm. Besides helping hundreds of local families with their financial goals and retirement planning, he has served several roles for over 15 years on the leadership team of the Southeast WI Edward Jones Region, primarily as a mentor/trainer/coach to other advisors.
Aaron grew up in Richland Center, WI where he worked in his parent’s jewelry store business and graduated from high school there in 1992. After high school, Aaron attended UW-Whitewater where he received a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, with an emphasis in Finance & Marketing, in 1996. Upon college graduation he went on to work as a stockbroker for 2 years (1997-1998) at OLDE Stockbrokers in Madison, before making the career change to Edward Jones in Lake Mills.
Aaron is a proud parent of his three children – Ryan (22), Alexis (20) and Adriana (18). Ryan works in Medical Sales and lives in Minneapolis, Alexis is studying to become a nurse at UW Madison, and Adriana is a senior at Lake Mills High School.

Theresa grew up in Lake Mills and graduated from Lake Mills High School in 2004. She earned a Bachelor of Social Work from UW-Whitewater in 2008 and a Master of School Social Work from UW-Madison in 2009. She worked at McNeel Middle School in Beloit for 4 years before returning to her roots and working at the Lake Mills Elementary School for 8 years. Theresa took some time away from her career to take care of her beloved son and is now excited to get back in the workforce working with LMACF!
​
Theresa and her husband, Brandon, (also a Lake Mills area native) love raising their son in the community. Together, they enjoy hiking, camping, fishing and anything outdoors. Theresa also enjoys reading and crafting.
