L.D. Fargo Public Library StoryWalk at Wallace Park
The Lake Mills Area Community Foundation awarded a $45,108 grant to the L.D. Fargo Public Library for their StoryWalk at Wallace Park. A Story is told on sign posts spread along path through the wooded area at the park. It is designed for children of all ages. The StoryWalks Grand Opening was Friday, Oct. 1st. Lake Mills Yogo Co-op Covid Grant
The Lake Mills Area Community Foundation awarded a grant to the Lake Mills Yoga Co-op for $2,100. The grant qualified for COVID-19 relief funds as provided by the Foundation. The Co-op is a locally operated non-profit organization that was severely impacted by the pandemic. The funds will support the Co-op's Summer Solstice Program which offers outdoor yoga classes in Commons Park. Donation to the Lake Mills Community Meal
The Lake Mills Area Community Foundation donated to the Lake Mills Community Meal Program that is held the third Wednesday of each month at the EMS Building. Grant to help Solar Project for Jefferson County Humane Socitey
The Humane Society of Jefferson County has approached multiple partners in Jefferson County to help support a Solar Project for the Shelter. As one of the closest communities, Lake Mills area residents have a strong involvement in the HSJC. Members of the volunteer pool and Board of Directors are residents of Lake Mills and benefit by serving our community and animals. Truman K-9 Unit Project
In support of the Lake Mills Police Department Community Funded K-9 Unit Program, a grant was awarded in the amount of $10,000 from the LMACF Endowment Fund. April of 2019. We look forward to meeting Truman, when he is fully trained and serving our community!

EMS granted funds to help pay for new Stryker Powerlift in Ambulance Unit
The EMS is dedicated to the Community of Lake Mills, but needed a little help to purchase a Stryker PowerLift, electric lift stretcher to help patients into the ambulance with hurting not only the patient but the EMT’s. $15,000 was donated from the Lake Mills Area Community Foundation, and $25,000 match from an anonymous donor from the Community!

LMACF Check Presented to the Art Alliance to help Souper Bowl Fundraiser!
