Last Night the Lake Mills Area Community Foundation and the LM Optimist Club sponsored the Lake Mills City Band Concert in the Park!
This concert was a combined concert with Palmyra-Eagle Community Band. Also, Audience Appreciation night with free root bear floats provided by Tyranana Brewery and served by the Main Street Program.
July 31st concert was in honor of Bette Breitkreutz Ward, LMHS graduate of 1942, who loved bringing her daughter down to listen to the band. She had many older siblings in the Lake Mills City Band and was also a big supporter of the renovation of the band stand in their memory.
