Lake Mills Area Community Foundation Supports Lake Mills Optimist Club Holiday Dinners
The Lake Mills Area Community Foundation is proud to partner with the Lake Mills Optimist Club to provide holiday meals through their Adopt-a-Family Program. With rising costs and greater need this year, LMACF awarded a $2,250 grant to help ensure families can enjoy a holiday meal together. LMACF Provides $12,000 Grant for the Lake Mills Food Pantry
The Lake Mills Area Community Foundation (LMACF) has awarded a $12,000 grant to support the Lake Mills Food Pantry’s expansion project, funding the purchase of a commercial refrigerator and a commercial freezer. These additions will enhance food storage capacity and improve the pantry’s ability to serve local residents more efficiently. LMACF Donates $25,000 for the Jenni Nichols Outdoor Learning Center

LMACF Tours LMHS FFA Aquaculture Project
LMACF has been a proud supporter of the Lake Mills High School Aquaculture Project! LMHS Agriculture Teacher, Luke Wiedenfeld, along with several of his students, welcomed LMACF and other supporters to tour the classroom and project. Through this project, students learn about aquaculture as they raise tilapia, take lab samples and use the fertilizer for growing their own plants. They plan to partner with culinary classes in the future.
