LMACF Awards $235,000 in Scholarships!

The Lake Mills Area Community Foundation (LMACF) awarded $235,000 in scholarships this year. At the Lake Mills High School Scholarship Night, LMACF awarded $229,500 in scholarships to LMHS seniors, distributing 42 scholarships to 31 different students through its 29 dedicated scholarship funds. Additionally, LMACF awarded scholarships to recipients at Lakeside Lutheran High School, Waterloo High School, and Jefferson High School. The awards reflect a broad range of academic interests, career goals, and community values.

LMACF is profoundly appreciative of the donors who make these scholarship funds possible—supporting local students as they pursue higher education and career training—and for the trust they place in the foundation to steward them.

LMACF commends all scholarship recipients for their hard work, determination, and aspirations for the future—qualities that were evident throughout the evening’s program—and wish the Class of 2026 well as they prepare for their next chapter.
